KA_YO_Prototype × Tretorn.
The Lavar Boot brings together two different approaches to utility.
On one side, Tretorn’s long history of functional footwear, shaped by Nordic weather, everyday use, and a deep understanding of how a boot should perform. On the other, KA_YO_Prototype’s more exploratory approach to material, form, and modern outdoor function.
The collaboration starts with a familiar silhouette and asks how far it can be pushed without losing what made it useful in the first place.
The result is a boot that sits somewhere between heritage and experimentation. Practical by nature, but reworked through a more contemporary lens, where function becomes part of the expression rather than something hidden behind it.
A study in material, proportion, and purpose. Built for wet ground, shifting conditions, and life beyond a single setting.
Built on heritage. Shaped by exploration.
