A recycled 20-denier Pertex® Quantum shell cuts wind and sheds light moisture while keeping the baffles supple. Elastic edging around the hood and cuffs closes the easy routes for heat loss.
The two-way front zip works with a harness, as do the raised hand pockets; a separate chest pocket keeps smaller essentials close. When the ascent warms up, the jacket packs into its own side pocket.
