Alugator Light is a 475-gram avalanche shovel built around a hardened, anodized aluminium blade and a telescopic oval shaft. The UIAA-certified construction keeps rescue equipment compact without turning it delicate.
Stabilising ribs stiffen the blade, while the sharpened, tilt-resistant edge and integrated foot rests help it bite into consolidated snow. A straight blade back also makes clean snow profiles easier to cut.
The automatic spring lock and symmetrical T-grip keep assembly and handling direct with either hand. Collapsed length is 54 cm, and the blade includes holes for a snow anchor or rescue sled.
